The only possible answer that preserves the theory is that a) they're brainwashed or b) they're in on it. So you need some kind of cabal powerful enough to spread disinformation throughout the society with such a high rate of success that your opinion is a tiny minority. Whether we like it or not, antisemitism is once again entering the mainstream, and there's pretty much nothing we can do about it.
