Via my former co-worker Antoine, the
Journal for the Study of Antisemitism has just published its
inaugural issue. It looks to be quite interesting. I think it is very important for vigorous academic discussion of anti-Semitism to commence, as right now it seems like a bit of an academic wasteland: sort of a faux-oppression made up by devious Jews to defend Israel from all criticisms. This, of course, is a stunning example of the type of anti-Semitism that richly deserves critical interrogation, so I'm hopeful this new journal can provide it.
