Muslim Heterosexual Agenda

Much like Barack Obama, it turns out that Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) is a secret Muslim.
When looking broadly at the Anthony Weiner-Huma Abedin union, we have to wonder if the coupling of a Jewish American man and a Muslim woman of her pedigree was fostered by love or by a socialist political agenda.
[...]
It is also important, when looking at this situation, to remember that observant Muslims practice Taqiyya , an element of sharia that states there is a legal right and duty to distort the truth to promote the cause of Islam.

Given the defense articulated by the Imam, which would be offered only for a Muslim man, we must believe this opportunity to remove this Muslim woman from a union with an non-believer would be quickly taken. Therefore we must consider that Mr. Weiner *may* have converted to Islam, because if he did not, we have to consider the unlikely, that being that Ms. Abedin has abandoned her Muslim faith, even while she still practices.

The Washington Times went a pretty deep on this one, even for them. And you have to wonder what was so far off target that they were forced to remove it even as they breathlessly wonder about whether Taqiyya is prompting everybody to lie about Weiner's secret conversion (because who has ever heard of an interfaith couple?).

  1. Even the first *paragraph* made no sense whatsoever.

We are confronted with another symptom of 21st century American decadence. Politicians, from John Edwards to Dominique Strauss-Kahn to Anthony Weiner are surreptitiously undermining such traditional values as marital fidelity, honor, patriotism and the religion that once united us.

When did the behavior of a French socialist become a symptom of American anything? The writer's already leaving the land of conservative beliefs, because most right-wingers are finally taking an acquaintance rape allegation seriously because the perpetrator is a left-wing cheese-eating surrender monkey. (Kind of like their ability to take sexism seriously when Palin's the victim.) To group DSK with the adulterous Edwards and infantile Weiner diminishes the seriousness of the accusation against him to mere "sex scandal" as opposed to "violent crime."

Even if DSK could be read as signifying something about American, raping the help, especially the black help in the South, was a fine old tradition since before the Founding.

And which religion are we supposed to be united by? John Edwards is a Methodist, Weiner a Jew, DSK founded Socialisme et judaïsme.

Finally, all three of these men didn't surreptitiously undermine anything; there's only damage because instead of taking the time-honored adulterer's route of discreetly visiting a brothel (like Sen. David Vitter, R-LA), they did things that would create talk: raping a near-stranger, impregnating a groupie, sending emails and Tweets.

If there's that much crazy to unpack from the first paragraph, I know I'll be exhausted if I try to read down to where you began your excerpt.
