Most Human Rights Actions taken by the UN:
1) Israel-- 274
2) Sudan-- 122
3) Democratic Republic of the Congo-- 120
4) United States of America-- 91
5) Myanmar-- 90
Israel as #1 will surprise precisely nobody (but is still appalling), and the US clocks in ahead of such luminaries as Syria, Iran, Cuba, China, North Korea--well, basically every country that isn't either a) Jewish or b) in the midst of a multi-million death genocide.
So if we elect Joe Lieberman as President and start killing all our minorities, we should soar to number one in no time!

Yes, interesting link, interesting content.
But compare US with Myanmar -
US - 2 resolutions, the rest Reports. Most of the items mentioned were "Detention without due process" with "torture" (think Gitmo and AbuGhraib)and "Capital punishment" also prominent.
Myanmar - 6 resolutions, 6 Decisions, 4 Draft Decisions, the rest Reports... Detention, Food, and Freedom of Expression featuring prominently.
As a matter of interest, NZ has been mentioned a couple times recently, most prominently after a Maori radical group attended a plenary session with an appeal against changes in NZ law that they saw as discriminatory. They failed, but the Report was recorded.
So, rather than being so pettily precious about the UN, perhaps some time spent in reading and UNDERSTANDING might be in order?
