We Went Through This Once With Marmaduke

It's not that I can see an interpretation of today's Non Sequitur that's really filthy and inappropriate. It's that I can't see any other conceivable punchline.

I don't think so. I think this time it's about little girls and their ponies.

Jill doesn't buy it. Specifically, she thinks that first big panel isn't a "nostalgia for my girlhood dreams" face. Nor, I'd add, is the last panel's "intrigued" face.

From my brief perusal this doesn't seem like the kind of cartoon that "goes there." Also, the horse's name is apparently Lucy, so that would make sexing up the butt (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) logistically challenging.

I'm with PG on this. I don't sense any sort of outright horribleness; I think it's just one of those strips that's neither funny, insightful or horrible -- it's just bad.
