Kind of a Greenish, Brownish Color
Former U.S. Rep. and Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney cements her Green-Brown alliance by extensively citing far-right anti-Semitic extremist Matthias Chang. Adam Holland gives a run down of Chang's delightful contributions to civilized discourse.

Well..shit(no pun intended) Although I'd like to see some cites of articles saying she actually claimed Zionists caused 9/11.
I haven't seen anything where McKinney made that precise claim, but she's a 9/11 truther (i.e. a person who doesn't think Al Qaeda was responsible for the attack, or who thinks some Americans -- Bush? the Zionist conspiracy? -- had foreknowledge of the attacks) and has literally linked her campaign to anti-Semitic websites.
Her father, a Georgia state legislator, worked on her political campaigns and is noted for his anti-Semitic remarks. Referring to her 1996 opponent: "He is a racist Jew, that's what he is, isn't he?" Or in 2002 when McKinney lost the Democratic primary: "Jews have bought everybody. Jews. J-E-W-S."
Boy, am I glad that she went to California. She used to be my Rep, and it was really embarrassing, the way she acted. The whole cellphone slapping incident, the strange positions...Finally we managed to replace her with Hank Johnson, who is much better, and not such a grandstander. And not a moment too soon.
Oh, and I thought George Soros was the Grand Poobah of the Great Left Wing Conspiracy to Destroy America. But apparently he isn't, because Cynthia hates his businessy arse... It all bees sooo confusulating.
I dunno PG, the post was admonishing the commentary from a blog that supported cynthia Mckinney as opposed to statements from her. And the whole war thing..ehh maybe she has a point. I think it's possible that the government ignored the warnings of the 9/11 attack.
Jenny,
The post I linked was noting that McKinney's campaign website was linking to anti-Semitic sites. Lie down with dogs...
As for 9/11, there's little controversy over the idea that the Bush Admin didn't do enough to prevent the attacks. McKinney has made the much more insidious claim that the Bush Admin had specific knowledge of when and how, and failed to do anything, and that they and their friends have profited thereby, thus implying that the Bush Admin wanted the attacks to happen. That's a pretty nasty thing to say without any proof.
